Kandis Horton provides private riding lessons that feature Centered Riding© techniques. 

Internationally recognized, Centered Riding©training is incorporated into any discipline.  Emphasis on a correct seat and position is essential for the horse and rider to perform as a harmonious team, from western to dressage. 

Kandis’ careful teaching approach includes a customized lesson plan that targets the desired goals of the individual.  In addition, the rider’s skill and confidence level is given special consideration when pairing them up with the right school horse. To ensure safety and to assist in developing proper position, each new student is required to start on the lunge line.

Kandis’goals for 2007 include advancing to a Level 2 Centered Riding© instructor and becoming a USDF “L” judge.  Kandis is one of the eleven recognized instructors in Washington State and the only one in Kitsap County. 

Sherry is a skilled horsewoman who is always available to support Kandis and her students.  She specializes in basic horsemanship and beginner rider instruction.  Sherry also oversees the pony parties and seasonal events at Roze-El.

All riding lessons are private.  Upon the student’s request, group lessons can be arranged.  References are available.
